Every time I come back to the United States I start compiling a select list of what gets the prime space in my luggage! This year we’ll be here through the end of February and then head to Africa for 45+ days before we’re back to Greece so it’s a little more selective! When you travel frequently you learn what you can and can’t live without. And living in Greece (or anywhere in Europe) means you don’t have as much space - we have no garage, our closet space is about 50% of the USA, there’s limited storage in bathrooms and even our fridge is less than half the size of the refrigerators in the states!
These are the must-have items on my list that I love and can’t live without. The underlined items are linked for easy shopping! Check it out!
The List:
The BEST wireless bra of all time
Ladies, you’re welcome. This works on ALL sizes. Yes, even D+. Buttery fabric, wide band so no un-cute squeezing, adjustable straps and back closure. Removable pads. Multiple colors. Seamless under clothes. I’ve done international flights and slept in this - and I hate bras! It’s also passed my mom’s test and she is picky! Oh, and it’s currently under $20!!!!
I hate underwire bras, but I love support. These are great for pulling on for all-day wear, wearing to sleep and for travel! I grabbed the neon pack because, why not?!
Yay! Aging! It’s come with wisdom, maturity, peace and yes… some loss of elasticity in my skin, especially given my outdoors-loving nature! This stuff is pretty magic, I suggest the Gold Bond Age Renew Strength & Resilience Lotion too for whole body!
The Same Adjustable Sandals
I know, these, again. What can I say - if it works, it works! I’m loyal to these bad boys and am on at least my 4th pair. It’s not that they don’t last, I’m exceedingly hard on my stuff. I’ve worn these to see Ludovico Euinadi play at the Amphitheater in Pompeii, hiking the Devil’s Well in northern Türkiye and every single day up and down the cobbled streets of Plomari.
I love that it has a little elastic band to keep it close, it opens flat, is lined nicely and comes in colors! I like to write the quarter and the year in metallic sharpie on the spine and when they’re on shelves it looks so cute!
These Cute Colorful Tights! only $18!!!!
These are a super cute new find! They’ve got a thick waistband so no digging in and they’re thick enough there’s no see-through action. I suggest sizing up one size as they’re a tight fit. I have the forest green color and will be grabbing a few more!
Want your phone dropped? Hand it over, I will take care of it for you! I wish I was less prone to this, but I’m 44 going on 4. I buy and burn through these easy to install kits more than I’d like to admit. The back lens covers last longer (for me), but are a saving grace - if you scratch a camera lens - there is no cheap or easy way to fix it!
Gosh this list is unsexy isn’t it?! This comes in handy for emergency medicine and daily vitamins! Mine has come in handy a lot lately given Z’s accident (he’s recovering well!) as we travel.
I am too active and too busy to be uncomfortable. These are my go-to for every single day, all day - running, weight lifting, traveling, working, you name it!
Stretchy? Cute? Flattering? Wind-proof against Marilyn Monroe style gusts? This is my jam! I will be buying another (smaller!) size of this dress to bring back with me - it’s so easy to pull on, comfy and always gets compliments!
Summary
I hope you find something new to try and better yet, something you love! As always let me know if there’s anything you’re looking for in particular. I buy and try a ton of stuff and I always love to share my favorites! Not everything has to be expensive - it’s all about what works for YOU!
